Exhibit-worthy prints of my black-and-white photographs are available for purchase, and printed to order. Originating with 4000 ppi scans of the 35mm negatives, these prints are made with archival monochrome pigmented inks on archival matte-finish coated stock on an Epson six-color inkjet printer. As the cotton-fiber paper is made without optical brighteners, it has a slightly warm cast. The inkset allows a range of toning, from cool (with a slightly bluish cast) to sepia. I most often choose a tone made entirely or mostly from carbon-pigmented inks that yield a warm cast similar to this image (though the tone might not be evident or accurately reproduced by all monitors): ![]() Tire shop,

I control every step of the process -- scanning the negative, meticulous cleaning of the digitized image, adjusting contrast and brightness on a monitor calibrated to the printed output -- so that the printed image looks exactly as I want it to. This digital-darkroom process yields prints with rich blacks, exceptional shadow detail and subtle highlights. For technical details and suppliers, see the tools page. Prices (unframed): Approx.
